High-quality wadding made from a special noise- and vibration-absorbing material that withstands high temperatures, allowing use across a wide temperature range.

Suitable for exhaust silencers on 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.

Heat resistance: operating temperature up to 550 °C

The amount of packing (= packing density) is an extremely important factor in noise reduction and the service life of the wadding:
- with "loose" packing = The exhaust is quiet at first / After a short time, the wadding compresses and leaves a void / The exhaust becomes loud again / The wadding wears excessively and loses its properties too quickly.
- with "tight" packing: Longer service life and less wear on the wadding / Optimum sound insulation is not achieved.

Note: When washing the motorcycle, bear in mind that the exhaust silencer is not properly sealed. It is essential to prevent moisture ingress, as damp or wet insulating material (wadding) significantly increases the motorcycle's noise level.
The wadding is also vulnerable to saturation with unburnt oil or the build-up of deposits (mainly carbon), which compromise its performance and service life. These signs indicate that the engine is running on an excessively rich mixture.
