Black Barrel 2-litre fuel tank
Fitting a fuel tank to a motorised bicycle frame can sometimes be tricky. If you do not want to or cannot position the fuel tank on the tube between the saddle and the headset, or if you prefer to position the tank above the rear wheel, consider the 2-litre BLACK BARREL tank.
This tank mounts onto your bicycle's seatpost and is suitable for all types of bicycles. Simply extend the seatpost, secure the tank using the clamp, fill it with fuel and connect the fuel hose to the carburettor. Fitting takes only a moment, and fuel can then flow from the "Fuel Barrel" behind the saddle through a hose running straight down to the engine.
Most tanks above the rear wheel sit at the same height as the carburettor, which means low fuel pressure. BLACK BARREL is designed to sit at an upward angle of 25° from the horizontal, ensuring optimal pressure. This angle also prevents the tank from rubbing against the tyre and allows the fuel hose to be routed without difficulty.
