COMBO brake and clutch lever for motorised bicycles
The new combined brake and clutch lever assembly brings the clutch and brake levers together in one easy-to-use unit. This unit is ideal for bicycles fitted with two brake levers as standard, allowing you to mount a clutch lever on the handlebars without sacrificing the second brake lever. It has a sleek, stylish design that complements any bicycle. How does it work? Instead of using the 3-speed shifter to change gear, you simply use gears 1 and 2 to keep the clutch either engaged (gear 1) or disengaged (gear 2). To disengage the clutch, press the thumb lever and shift to the 2nd gear position. Then, to engage the engine drive, press the finger lever and shift from 2nd gear to 1st gear, engaging the clutch. Some customers have found that the clutch arm travel between 1st and 2nd gear is insufficient. The shifter can be modified internally to eliminate the use of 2nd gear, so that it shifts from 1st to 3rd gear, allowing additional clutch arm travel.
