The belt has two edges – one straight and one bevelled. Once installed, the bevelled side must face away from the engine, otherwise engine damage will occur.
Premature belt wear also occurs if the buggy is driven too slowly.
Belt designation: 725
Now made from a stronger material with added Teflon.
