Brakes for pit bikes, mini dirt bikes and quad bikes

Reliable brakes are among the most important parts of any motorcycle or quad bike. Regular checks and timely replacement of worn components help maintain proper braking system function and more confident control of your vehicle. In this category, you will find brakes and replacement brake parts for pit bikes, mini dirt bikes, mini bikes, quad bikes and other vehicles. The range includes almost 300 items, from brake pads and levers to callipers, discs, master cylinders, hoses and complete brake assemblies.

Brake pads

Brake pads are wear components of the braking system, and their condition should be checked regularly. Worn pads can reduce braking performance and may also damage the brake disc if replacement is delayed for too long.

When choosing pads, it is not enough simply to check whether they are intended for a pit bike or quad bike, for example. What matters most is their shape, dimensions and compatibility with the specific brake calliper.

Brake discs

If a brake disc is badly worn, damaged or warped, it may need replacing. When choosing a new disc, check its diameter, thickness, the number and spacing of its mounting holes, and its overall design.

Two discs that look similar may therefore not be interchangeable.

Brake callipers

The brake calliper presses the pads against the brake disc. Our range includes various callipers for motorcycles and quad bikes, so it is important to compare the new part with the original before ordering.

Pay particular attention to the mounting hole spacing, calliper position, type of braking system and brake hose or cable connection, depending on the specific design.

Brake levers for motorcycles and quad bikes

A brake lever can be damaged in a fall or through normal use. The current range includes left- and right-hand levers, adjustable and folding versions, and designs intended for specific vehicles.

When choosing a lever, check the side, mounting method, dimensions and type of brake actuation. On quad bikes, you may also encounter levers designed to operate two brakes.

Brake master cylinders and hoses

In hydraulic braking systems, brake master cylinders and brake hoses are important components. This category currently includes, for example, several types of master cylinder for pit bikes and quad bikes, as well as ATV brake hoses in various lengths.

When replacing a hose, choosing an approximate length is not enough. Also check the end fittings, threads, fitting orientation and compatibility with the master cylinder and calliper.

After work on a hydraulic braking system, the brake must be properly filled and bled.

Complete brake assemblies

If you need to replace a larger part of the system at once, complete brake assemblies may be a suitable solution. The range includes various complete brake assemblies, including versions for mini bikes, mini dirt bikes and children's quad bikes.

Even with a complete assembly, a similar appearance does not automatically mean compatibility. Before ordering, check the mountings, dimensions, hose or cable length and other specifications of the original brake.

How to choose the right brake parts

When choosing replacement brake parts, we recommend basing your choice on the specific vehicle and the specifications of the original component. A description such as “125 cc pit bike” or “49 cc children's quad bike” alone may not be enough to identify the correct part.

In particular, compare:

  • the dimensions and shape of the original part,
  • the mounting hole spacing,
  • whether it is for the right- or left-hand side,
  • whether it is for the front or rear brake,
  • the threads and connection method,
  • any identification markings on the original component, where applicable.

This is particularly important for vehicles supplied with different brake component variants during their production run.

When should brakes be checked or replaced?

The braking system should be checked regularly and whenever you notice a change in braking performance, unusual lever or pedal action, a brake fluid leak, hose damage or significant wear to the pads and disc.

After a fall or impact, we also recommend checking the levers, callipers, discs and their mountings. With brakes, it is not worth waiting until a component stops working altogether.
