Inner tubes for pit bikes, mini motocross bikes and quad bikes

The right inner tube must match the size of the tyre and wheel it will be fitted to. When replacing a tube, we therefore recommend checking the markings on the original tyre and inner tube first, rather than relying solely on the vehicle's model or engine capacity.

Our range includes inner tubes for pit bikes, mini motocross bikes, minibikes, children's quad bikes, ATVs, motorised bicycles and other vehicles. The current range includes 25 variants in a variety of motorcycle and ATV sizes.

Inner tubes for pit bikes

Pit bikes use different combinations of front and rear wheels, so the inner tube sizes required also vary. Available sizes include 60/100-14, 80/100-12, 90/100-14, 2.75/3.00-17, 2.75/3.00-19 and 2.75/3.00-21.

For more demanding use, extra heavy-duty pit bike inner tubes are available, currently including a rear 12" tube and other variants for 14" and 17" wheels.

When choosing a tube, do not rely solely on the bike's wheel size designation, such as 17/14. Always check the full tyre size on the specific front or rear wheel.

Inner tubes for mini motocross bikes and minibikes

Smaller vehicles require matching sizes. The range currently includes, for example, a 2.50/2.75-10" inner tube for mini motocross bikes, an 8" inner tube for mini motocross bikes and an inner tube for minibikes.

When replacing a tube, we recommend comparing the size of the original inner tube and tyre. The description “mini motocross bike” or “minibike” alone is not enough, as individual models use different wheel sizes.

Inner tubes for quad bikes and ATVs

Inner tubes for children's quad bikes and ATVs form a separate group. Sizes currently available include 145/70-6, 16x8-7, 18x9.5-8, 19x7.00-8 and 21x7-10.

Always check a quad bike's front and rear tyres separately. Even if they have the same rim diameter, they may have different tyre widths and therefore require different inner tube sizes.

How do you choose the right inner tube?

The simplest way is to read the size directly from the tyre sidewall. If you have an 80/100-12 tyre, for example, look for an inner tube whose manufacturer-specified size range covers this size.

This is why some inner tubes have several sizes in one designation, such as 2.25/2.50-12 or 3.00/3.50-10. The manufacturer specifies that such a tube is intended for the stated range of tyre sizes. However, checking only the last number is not enough. Two tyres on a 12" rim can have significantly different widths and profiles.

How do you read an inner tube size?

Motorcycle inner tubes can be marked in several ways. For example, 2.75/3.00-17 indicates an inner tube intended for the corresponding range of tyre widths and a 17" rim. Quad bikes often use inch-based sizing that matches the tyres, such as 16x8-7 or 21x7-10. The last number indicates the rim diameter in inches.

When choosing a tube, always follow the size range specified by the manufacturer of that particular inner tube.

Standard or heavy-duty inner tube?

Extra heavy-duty inner tubes are also available for pit bikes.

Heavy-duty construction may be particularly suitable for off-road use, where wheels take more punishment. However, this does not mean the inner tube can withstand every puncture – the correct pressure, the condition of the tyre and rim, riding style and the type of terrain still matter.

Check the tyre and rim when replacing an inner tube

If you are replacing an inner tube because of a puncture, simply fitting a new one is not enough. First, find out what damaged the original inner tube.

Check the inside of the tyre, the rim and the rim tape, and look for any sharp objects or edges. If the cause of the puncture remains inside the wheel, it may damage the new inner tube too.

On spoked wheels, also pay attention to the tape or rim strip that separates the inner tube from the spoke heads and ends.

Avoid pinching the inner tube during fitting

When fitting a tyre, the inner tube can become trapped between the tyre lever and the rim. This can damage a new inner tube before the first ride.

It helps to inflate the inner tube slightly before fitting so that it takes shape, and to work carefully with tyre levers. After fitting, check that the tyre is seated correctly on the rim.

The correct pressure is important

Tyre pressure affects handling as well as the stresses placed on the inner tube. If the pressure is too low, it can increase the risk of the tyre moving on the rim or the inner tube being damaged by an impact. However, there is no single correct pressure for all pit bikes and quad bikes. Follow the recommendations from the manufacturers of the specific vehicle and tyre, taking the intended use into account.

Inner tubes for motorised bicycles and other vehicles

The range is not limited to motorcycles and quad bikes. It currently includes, for example, a 26x4" inner tube for the All Terrain Fat Tire motorised bicycle, as well as a 4" inner tube for a mini quad and scooter.

The same rule applies here: a compatible tyre and rim size is what matters.
